Presented by Diane Zucker, M.Ed., CCS-P, this workshop is designed for psychiatrists and their new or experienced billing and coding staff and all other mental health professionals who want to stay current with new information, rules and policies that impact billing for mental health services.
A new CPT code book is published each year and new information is presented in this workshop to make sure you are up-to-date with all the changes in order to avoid any delay in reimbursement.
At the conclusion of this educational event, participants should be able to:
- Understand Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®) coding language for psychiatry and be able to identify the components of a note for coding purposes.
- Accurately code and document mental health services for proper reimbursement and to meet the requirements associated with utilizing E&M codes.
- Confidently code a variety of complex, real-life scenarios.
