The 2010 Annual Psychiatric Update, held on April 18, in joint-sponsorship with the American Psychiatric Association, Music & the Brain - an Educational Symposium was another huge succss!
Participants were mesmerized by the informative and moving presentations by: David Huron, PhD on Why Listeners Enjoy Music That Makes Them Weep; Ali Rezai, MD, who shared The Neurosurgeon's Perspective on Music and the Brain; and Richard Kogan, MD, who captivated everyone with his Musical Creativity and the Brain presentations where he wove the lives and mental illnesses of Robert Schumann and George Gershwin into facinating presentations about their musical genius!
Anyone wishing to order Dr. Kogan's CD's may do so by clicking on this link.
Thanks so much to everyone who helped make this year's program a huge success!
