Election Information

Dr. Brien Dyer, Chair, Nominating Committee, has submitted the following slate of candidates for the 2002 election:

President-Elect
Mark Munetz, M.D. - Akron
Unopposed

Secretary
David Bienenfeld, M.D. - Dayton
Ralph Walton, M.D. - Youngstown

APA Representative
Jonathan Dunn, M.D. - Cleveland
Unopposed

Council endorsed the nominees on the recommendation of the Nominating Committee.
OPA members may file petitions to place additional candidates on the ballot. The Executive Director of the OPA must receive such petitions no later than December 1, 2001. At least 25 signatures of eligible voting members are required for petitions on behalf of candidates.
The names of all candidates and their biographical information and position statements will appear in the February 2002 issue of Insight Matters.
Ballots will be mailed to OPA voting members February 28, 2002. Return ballots must be postmarked prior to April 1, 2002.
